Just a quick note to say thanks to you, Nick & all your team at Honesberie for last Friday night. The whole evening was great & we’ve received many compliments from our team on the venue, the food, the magician, etc.

I couldn’t be happier that we decided to hold the party at Honesberie & we look forward to more events with you in the future.

We have had an amazing stag do day at Honesberie. Our instructor James was great and made our activities relaxed and fun. The staff could not have been more attentive from our breakfast to our presentation drinks. Well done and thank you guys, you gave us a great experience

Dear Nick, I would like to say a huge thank you.

I have just returned from a day’s shooting at Egton Manor in Yorkshire, which was fantastic due to your sound advice. My shooting was excellent and the hit rate was incredible just slightly over 2:1 and there were a considerable number of high birds. On one drive the host, who had been watching, passed comment with “you do not raise your gun quickly but when you do, you take the bird“.

When we first met and you persuaded me to switch from left to right, I thought it was slightly mad! (I’m sorry but on that first day I did question if you made any sense). However after six lessons I feel more comfortable and at each outing I am improving, so I’m sorry for questioning your advice and looking forward to the next lesson.

For anyone else who has to go through the change I would simply tell them to have faith.

I just wanted to drop you guys a note thanking you (and particularly Tom) for hosting my family last Saturday for a shooting lesson. Tom’s teaching was excellent and significantly contributed to everyone having a really memorable day. I don’t think my mum will let any of us forget that she was the best shot..

Brought my 13 year old Alfie to the Young Shots day on 26/07/18 where he had a truly wonderful time. Huge thanks in particular to Tom who was superb with all the youngsters and was very happy for me to tag along with the group. The attention to detail of the group’s wants, needs and allowing extra activities such as the rifle range made the day even more special. Highly recommended. Thank you. Huw and Alfie.

Very good to have met you all on Friday, and a particular thank you to Julian for his time and unending patience. You looked after us all very well; great hospitality, very welcoming, and you gave us all a most enjoyable afternoon.

Nick has been invaluable to me, holding corporate days at my recording studio and as a secret weapon teaching me in the field. Always professional he offers measured and concise advice in a relaxed easy going manner.

I was introduced to Nick at Honesberie via a good friend. When I met Nick for the first time at his welcoming and state of the art facility, I was an enthusiastic, average at best right handed shot without much idea, where I was going wrong or right for that matter. A couple of weeks later I am a good left-handed cool headed shot. The boys and loaders I shoot with were gob smacked with the transformation if not irritated that now a back gun behind me is no longer the best place to stand!

The manner and openness of all the instructors and staff is spot on and skilled in the way they are able to read what approach will work with who. I am continuing with my coaching as it’s categorically reaping rewards and bags of enjoyment for me.

Thank you so much for the time you spent with us on Wednesday 29th September. Although we consider ourselves experienced game shots, having averaged around 30 – 40 years’ experience each, we were amazed at just how many faults we had! At dinner afterwards, we agreed that the first thing we had learned, was that we were nowhere near as good as we thought!

We were all amazed at your speed and perception in diagnosing faults, your early manner in explaining how to correct these faults, and more importantly (at our age!!) the realization that we were in the company of someone with such knowledge, and therefore our willingness not only to listen, but to act to correct these faults. You are an exceptional coach. Coupled with your general knowledge of guns and shooting, together with your hospitality, this made for a very rewarding afternoon. We will be back!!

I write to thank you for putting on a brilliant day of shooting, crossbows, air rifles and shot guns. I really enjoyed all of them but if I had to have a favourite it would probably be the air rifles. I also really liked the exploding targets.

I learnt so much such as shooting clay pigeons and clay rabbits. I really hope to come again with my sister Storm next time. My grandpa is still talking about how good it was. Looking forward to seeing you again.

Great welcome upon arrival, plenty of teas and coffees on offer, breakfast was great bacon cobs and veggie burgers!!

Nick Hollick was excellent, very patient, very good listener and a great trainer. He really wanted us all to learn and succeed and he boosted our confidence by regularly praising us. The venue was good and the guns were easy enough to use.

The lunch was brilliant; The entire team was friendly and very hospitable towards us, a great day out, thank you.

I thought the day at Honesberie was very well organised and was able to include beginners and more experienced guns.

Nick was extremely patient with our group and his encouragement and knowledge of shooting techniques were exceptional.

The food was super and finished the morning session off really well and the whole event from start to finish was well worth it. Only pity is that they are too far away for me to use on a regular basis.

Honesberie Shooting provided an excellent corporate function day in not only the patience given to me as a complete novice by my instructor Julian Copeman, but also by his professional competence through out the day.

The catering staffs willingness to oblige coupled with the excellent fresh food and beverages provided through out made the networking with others attending just a memorable day ….. thank you

Thanks once again for the day on Saturday. The Team at Honesberie “handled” us all very well. Relaxed yet professional, putting us all at ease so we were all able to enjoy the day.

I was very impressed by the level of patience shown to the non shooters and the level of thought given to the safety of all participants. Bacon rolls are always a good way to start your day and the lunch provided was very good also.

In all they did you proud by providing a first class service. Shame about my shooting though.

We recently went to the British Grand Prix and stayed on the woodland campsite. We decided to take part in the clay pigeon shooting which was offered on site. With Very little experience for my husband and 0 experiences for myself I just wanted to let you know of the fantastic experience we had, the customer service from booking the activity, up until being dropped back at the campsite was exceptional. Our instructor Alan was fantastic; I cannot speak highly enough of him, superb knowledge, made us feel comfortable and was a very interesting man. Hopefully this event will be offered again next year.

Very impressive ground and facilities, excellent patient coaches – I’ll be back!
