Tom oversees all aspects of the grounds at Honesberie – from clay trap setup to grass cutting – working closely with the grounds team to ensure every visitor enjoys a first-class experience.
A true countryman, Tom grew up on another shooting ground and spent over a decade working as a gamekeeper. His deep-rooted knowledge of the countryside and shooting sports gives him a natural ability to teach, whether it’s shotgun or rifle. He’s just as comfortable coaching beginners as he is competing himself on his days off.
Tom has a no-nonsense approach, both in life and in the way he teaches — calm, clear, and effective. In his spare time, he’s a keen sports fan with a particular passion for cricket.
You’ll often spot Tom around the ground with his springer spaniel, Ollie, who is currently in training as a gundog.
