No. We provide all equipment and PPE for every 25- or 50-shot experience, including lessons, if guests do not have their own.
We have targets set at 50m, 100m, 150m, and 200m, offering a mix of practical hunting targets and dynamic reactive targets.
During your rifle experience, you’ll shoot three different calibres: .22, .223, and .308. The .22 is low-recoil and easy to handle, perfect for beginners and short-range practice. The .223 has moderate recoil, ideal for learning control and accuracy at medium distances. The .308 is high-powered with heavy recoil, giving you the thrill of long-range shooting and large-game scenarios. No experience is needed – our expert instructors guide you safely through each rifle, and sessions can be tailored to focus on the calibre that best matches your goals.
The minimum age for the rifle range is 7 years old. If we assess that a younger shooter may struggle with larger calibre rifles, we will substitute these for additional shots on a smaller calibre to ensure complete safety.
Yes. Every range session is accompanied by an instructor, who will provide spotting or tuition as needed.
Shooters are positioned in an enclosed indoor rifle hut, with the option of either bench rest or prone positions. The hut provides full shelter from the elements, allowing shooting to continue in most weather conditions. On extremely windy days, however, the range may be affected depending on wind strength and direction.
All rifles must be moderated. Anyone wishing to complete a rifle zero must hold a valid, up-to-date firearms certificate with the relevant firearms recorded on their license.
Our qualified staff can tailor each range session or lesson to suit the shooter’s level of experience, ensuring that every shooter is welcome.
